I think something Christians really struggle with is Jesus’ commandment to repent. We are so apt, myself included, to focus on His grace, but His grace was given because of our sin. We are not faultless. God loves us regardless, yes, but by ignoring repentance, we cheapen grace. Grace means that we have to change. We are called to sin no more. Of course, we’ll make mistakes. But God calls us not to live in that anymore. Grace isn’t fluffy nor does it look the other way. It is correcting and is true love.
